There were a few things about the relationships that I found difficult to believe/moved very fast, but overall I loved this so much. Perfectly spooky for the season.

A slow burn that will have you gripping the book tight to the very last page. Following Marion’s path to becoming a bloodmaid, waiting to see what high society has lurking in its corridors, and how Countess Lisavet garners adoration from all her maids. Where does the cost of blood and love get Marion in the end? What a read!!
