I read this book at the request of my 12 yo granddaughter. It really is a tear- jerker! I know there are homeless people living in their car but to realize that families also are homeless is very said. Good read

When I was working in an elementary school, I remember kids talking about this book. I never read it until recently I saw it at the library and thought I would pick it up.

I really liked it. I wasn't sure how it was going to end but I'm glad it ended the "right" way because it was a nice book about doing the right thing even though you might not like the ending to that.

A cute book that got me to well up a bit at the end. I'm not sure I really got sucked into the story and characters, but the whole plot to steal a dog was fun and something new, so it at least kept me reading. Beneath the initial lighthearted tale of the dog theft, is a more serious issue of homelessness that builds as the story progresses. How Georgina reacts to it and copes with the situation.

I adored this book. I passed on immediately to my 10 yr old daughter who read it in a couple of hours and loved it too! It gives you a lot to think about and discuss with your kids.

A good story where a girl learns an important lesson.

Awwww.

I read this while waiting for the Dollhouse finale to finish downloading. It's one of Falon's books, and she was thrilled when she saw me reading it. Not so thrilled when she saw how fast I was reading it.

This is a very upsetting book. It's hard to sympathize with the main character, but in the end she makes up for it. A really cute book, and I'm glad Falon likes it.

I'm not really sure what this book set out to do aside from make the characters hillbillies that said words like "dern." Georgina showed little growth throughout the book. Mookie should have acted like an adult and returned the dog as soon as he realized it was missing, and Carmella let Georgina off the hook way too easily.
