Grabbed on a whim from the library without knowing anything about it. Vibes as extremely Bridget Jones-coded froth, but took a SUPER dark turn I didn’t expect, and then bounced between that froth and trauma-processing mood for the whole book. I…didn’t get it. It might have been two fine, different books instead of one weird, unsettling one.
