I loved it!! This installment was even more enjoyable than the second. The stakes and tension were high throughout and we got a Nettlebrand-worthy successor in the villain department! The ending felt a bit rushed, but it seems that it was intentionally left open for further books :)

My only complaint is that we need more Sorrel! The sassy, mushroom munching brownie is my favorite character! I feel like she’s been lost a bit as the books have progressed. This issue was alluded to in the storyline, so fingers crossed we see more of her next time.

Hope to return to this world again soon!

Not as good as the first two Dragon Rider books. The story is way to worried about how all people are bad except the Greenblooms and their friends. People kill animals and ruin the environment, etc. Should have spent more time with the plot and less time being trendy.
