I really enjoyed being inside a neurodivergent's brain and being able to relate to the constant energies and battles of the busy mind. Her journey taught me a lot and helped me feel less alone in my own journey.

This book was enjoyable! I really liked the first 3/4 than the last 1/4 but I enjoyed reading about how someone else navigated their life with ADHD and how finding their own ways to 'pay attention ' to things.

Parts of this book I found interesting, but other parts went off on tangents, that I couldn't really connect to. No judgement on this, it makes totally sense considering the author's ADHD and I am sure it was really important to her to use these imagines stories as a vehicle. But I wanted more of her personal journey and less of these digressions or the nature stuff.
In the acknowledgements she also thanks her editor to allow her to let loose in that way, but I still think that this book would have benefitted from a better editing. Of course a memoir is not a novel, but if it doesn't stay a manuscript in a drawer, but becomes a published book, seeking an audience, parts that aren't necessarily needed, should still be reviewed more deeply. So overall this book left me less engaged, than I expected it to make me.

I loved so much of this book, struggled with some of the passages, they felt a bit jarring... but mostly thought it was wonderful
