1 star is honest too many for this, this has got to be the first ever manic pixie dream girl projection by a man - bro only talks about himself and then assumes that this 17 year old is in love with him (she quite literally told him she was in love with someone else!) - boo

Just finished "White Nights" by Fyodor Dostoevsky and I’m honestly blown away. This short story is way more gripping than most of the popular fiction out there today. The way it dives into loneliness and the pain of an incomplete love story just hits you right in the feels. The narrator's sadness and his hopeless dreams feel so real and haunting. It's crazy how a story written so long ago can still be so relatable. If you're into deep, emotional reads that stay with you, you’ve gotta check this out.
