The bad guy calls into a radio talk show saying, "I'm going to offer you a choice." The host, Jordan, has no idea what this could be and treats it as a crank call. I did love her sassiness and her unwillingness to bend to what everyone wanted. However, when lives depend on your choice, you better listen. I was intrigued at the beginning of this book. The female narrator's for Jordan was wonderful. It suited the character perfectly. I could totally listen to her on a radio station any day of the week. Then there was the bad guy, the male narrator always had odd pauses while reading. It really bugged me as there seemed to be no rational pattern or cause for them that I could identify. After a while, the attacks became a little outlandish and on such a great scale that it made some things very implausible to pull off. I think the thing that made me not like the book was that Jordan should've been able to identify the bad guy immediately or at least hazard a guess. As the story progressed, this made me even madder. It just never seemed to go anywhere for me.

Thanks to Netgalley, J.D. Barker for my Hampton Creek Press for my copy in exchange for an honest review.

3,5 stars!

Really enjoyed this story. I liked the main characters' POV and the story was interesting. It took me a while to get into it, but once the story started taking off, I started to LOVE it.

4.5 stars! Took a bit to get into the nitty gritty but once it became fast paced I couldn’t rip myself away.

"Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night and wondered if this is it? If today is the day you'll die?"

Some believe that an eye for an eye will leave the whole world blind; but for some, blood for blood is the only way to cope with grief and lay ghosts to rest.

Jordan Briggs, the ambitious and formidable host of a controversial radio talk-show begins her day as usual, criticizing and bad-mouthing certain people and in a word being her usual self.
But when a caller calls asking her to play a game, she can't in her wildest nightmares imagine the price she is going to pay by opening this Pandora's Box.

Right from the beginning to the end, A Caller's Game is an action-packed, thrilling edge of your seat book.
This is my fifth 5-star book by the author. Keep them coming Mr. Barker!

Thanks to J.D. Barker, Hampton Creek Press and the NetGalley for my copy of the book.

JD Barker have quickly became a goto author. I get his books without even reading the descriptions now.

This one is about talk show host Jordan, who is given a choice with deadly consequences. Full of twists and turns will keep you on your toes. Great read.
