Another Good Loving Blues is a warm, melodic book that reminds me of the best family stories passed down like myths. Flowers brilliantly brings the traditions of griot, conjure, and the blues together in one of the best love stories I've read in a while. In an added plus, it's set in my hometown. I would highly recommend this book!
