Roadqueen follows Leo, a girl who goes to school at Princess Andromeda Academy. She is a lesbian and every girl in school tries to be her girlfriend, but her one and only love is her motorcycle, Bethany. After Bethany is swindled from her by another girl named Vega, she works hard to get her back, unknowingly falling for Vega in the process.Â
There's honestly not much to say about this story. I really enjoyed it and found it hilarious. Some things I would've liked to see were more of Boots (Leo's best friend) and her girlfriend, more of a fleshed out backstory for Vega, and the entire graphic novel in color instead of just the first 28 pages. Otherwise, it was a great read. I enjoyed seeing Leo open her heart up to someone after closing herself off and hiding from her sexuality after all that time. Â

A cool biker lesbian as a main character plus a sexy love interest, with enemies to lovers and fake dating trope are supposed to be a match made in heaven, right?
But shame, because I don't really like Leo (the main character) that much. But the story and the ending are pretty cute tho, and I finally get why Leo is the way she is. I just hope their relationship can be explored more.
