I had to read this book for school and it was surprisingly good and also deep. The main topic teen pregnancy was written realistic and I could understand why the characters did what they did. The letters to 'Nobody' were my favoritet thing about his book, you could really see how Helen changed. Not only how she thought about the baby but overall. I really enjoyed this book!

I absolutely love this book and at the end when you find out why the book is laid out the way it is OMG it's so beautifully written! One of my favourite books by far! - this was my review in 2013 when I was 15
My review 2018- I am now using this book for a project at drama school and after re-reading it (now being 20) it wasn't as amazing as when I first read it but I did still love it and learnt some lessons from the book, still loved it a lot though!

This book follows the perspectives of both Chris and Helen through their late teenage years dealing with an unplanned pregnancy. I love the structure of the book, how it starts in October with Chris receiving Helen's letters, all titled 'Dear Nobody' and then goes back to January where the letters begin, following the memories of Chris accompanied by the written thoughts of Helen, month by month until returning to present day.
I thoroughly enjoyed the artistic choice presented in the structure of this book, and feel the story explored well the topic of an unplanned pregnancy from a teenage couple, with the intersection of feelings, actions and knowledge from parents, friends and family along the way. It was certainly worth the read, however I'm not sure if it was writing style, ideologies explored or just me as the reader, but I didn't feel myself particularly warming to either Helen or Chris, so didn't feel any significant emotional attachment to wanting their futures to work out or supporting their relationship.
I found some scenes difficult to read, but this made the story more true to the harsh reality of the subject topic, which I did appreciate. So overall, a very well explored concept and story, but for whatever reason I wasn't particularly gripped by the characters themselves.

I had to read this for school and I think it is safe to say that otherwise, I would've never even heard of and definitely never read this book.
Reading this was very frustrating to me because the book deals with a topic that is important and should be talked about and I agreed with that but I really didn't like the way it was done.
I disliked both main characters and I was pretty annoyed by the whole letter-thing.
It was an okay read but I probably wouldn't have finished it if it hadn't been for school.

at first it felt a bit like an educational book or something and then it's was just slow and nothing was really happening, it had a nice ending though. I'm pretty sure I'll forget about reading this book
