This is definitely the worst translation I’ve ever read. It was written really weirdly and some of the sentences were incomprehensible. I assume there are better translations out there (the one I read was an ebook from Amazon) but the stories weren’t interesting enough for me to look for them. I found most of them boring, although this might be due to the weird translation. However, I did like the Feather Pillow and Meningitis and It’s Shadow.

A collection of short stories about madness and death. If you like Edgar Allan Poe you might enjoy this. Very well written.

I specially enjoyed "la gallina degollada", it's shocking and horrifying. Not all of the stories were horror but that one in particular gave me the chills.
