Adam gets a lot of hate for what he did but tbh he’s just trying to protect James. I kind of don’t like that he even has to think if he should pick between Juliette and James bc he should obviously focus on protecting James, but he’s going through a tough time. We got to remember how dedicated he is

was interesting to hear from adam’s perspective, especially his observations of juliette, rather than just hearing what’s going on inside her mind. i adore adam’s love for james (and i adore james). i feel for his conflict but i’ve kind of turned on adam now, kenji however i love sm and hope the next novella is from his perspective!

I liked this book more then I thought I would considering it was from Adam’s POV and I’m an Aaron Warner girl thru and thru. I did love the ending

when they all think that Juliette is dead because Anderson kidnapped her not Warner like they originally thought. I love how worried Kenji is he’s a sweetie but I’m low key glad Adam didn’t go after her right away 1. Because I didn’t want his brother to die and 2. Because it’s making it easier to want Warner instead for Juliette
