was interesting to hear from adam’s perspective, especially his observations of juliette, rather than just hearing what’s going on inside her mind. i adore adam’s love for james (and i adore james). i feel for his conflict but i’ve kind of turned on adam now, kenji however i love sm and hope the next novella is from his perspective!

I really thought there was a chance of me liking Adam after this book.
Didn’t happen.
Somehow his inner monologue was excruciating and that’s considering I went through Shatter Me where Juliette was basically having a panic attack every chapter.

adam’s kinda overhated imo

i love his love for james, sibling love is so important to me and even though i think he *is* awfully clingy to juliette, i can’t blame him.

as usual, i devoured this and i need to buy ignite me really soon.

I HATE ADAM WITH A PASSION, WTF IS HIS PROBLEM. HOW IS JULIET NOT ‘CAPABLE’ SHE KILLS PEOPLE WITH HER TOUCH WHICH IS MORE THAN HE CAN DO. MR TALKS ABOUT PEE 3 TIMES IN A 70 page book. W e i r d o.

And its so obvious that Juliet wont actually die, shes the MC and theres like 6 more books. And the novellas were written afterwards.
