LOVE a dandy an unashamed peacock if you will. I liked this more than expected but the Henrietta character is a bit tired like we get it she’s a bitch lol. The stalker vibes were really suspenseful but also the “I’m your father” twist really came out of nowhere and felt forced esp bc the lynchpin to Anna’s trauma (eh that might not be totally true) is the forced SA (for lack of a better term) that he didn’t enact but did force on her. And like don’t get me wrong men can be fucking weirdos to their kids but it didn’t make sense. Like I interpreted that event being an insurance that she wouldn’t be able to get married due to societal conventions and shame. Like the paternity feels Weird but men do be doing hymen checks on their children.
