Beautiful stories that are genuine and real, made me feel like i am reading about normal nigerian citizens.
One major thing that really didn't sit well with me in the stories is the normal theme of "infidelity". It's a pity it's such a rampant thing.

I started reading this book before 10am ans I am very ashamed to say that I did absolutely no house chore, didn’t feed my dogs… Actually moved no inch from my bed except to pee. I actually didn’t even eat. I just couldn’t bear to spend a second on something that wasn’t the book until a friend came and I had to let her in. I was grossly enamoured and I kept giving mental standing ovations while screaming “Now this is a book”. I was and still am super impressed.

It is a collection of short stories and if you read a lot. you’ll know that most times, they do not hit the bullseye. The fact that each story was inspired by a different song and the author actually dropped the songs before delving into the stories impressed me. These are regular songs that we listen to but I was reminded of how profound music is and how vast its effects actually are.

Kudos to the author. The book was beautifully written and that some of the stories were linked dropped my jaw.
