This is a fun story, weaving a world that exists deep in the earth beneath our feet, full of giant bats, roaches, spiders and rats that speak, and humans with translucent skin and violet eyes. It is the story of a young boy and his adventure to save his father in this strange world. While it is a story intended for a younger audience, it is a fun read read for any age.

Hey why is this series better than hunger games yet no one cares about it
Anyways love this shit
Modern urban twist on the wonderland concept
This one reads the most childish out of the series, but things quickly mature with the character which I Love
The whole concept is just really fun and I love all the characters

I just read this for the second time. The first time I read this series was as a child when they were being released. Now I read them as an adult and the fascination and wonders of the world are still there!! It had been so long that I forgot many of the plot twists as well. So I was again shocked and on the edge of my seat. And I definitely teared up at one point. I will still list this series as one of my favorites. And look forward to rereading them again someday. Now onto the next book!

Gregor the Overlander was a good read. The story was full of interesting characters. I'm not a fan of giant spiders, bats, rats, and cockroaches, but I am a fan of Suzanne Collins' writing. Her stories always keep my attention!
