The LOTR movies have held a special place in my heart because I have seen them a million times with my mom but never read them (which is kind of silly). 

After reading the hobbit, I knew I wanted to commit myself to reading the entire series. Since there was so much left out of those movies, I figured that the same would be true for the main movies because the hobbit was one book that’s 300 ish pages and each of these books is like 400… so shits not gonna make the cut & I love learning what didn’t! 

So far having the time of my life & extra proud because the words in this book are SMOL.

I have great respect for lotr and how influential it is, but this book is so dense it made me lose the will to live
