Rob Inglis, the narrator, also gets 5/5.
Moderate: Addiction, Death, Violence, Grief, War, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Animal cruelty, Confinement, Racism, Torture, Medical content, Death of parent, Schizophrenia/Psychosis , Fire/Fire injury, Gaslighting, Toxic friendship, Abandonment, and Alcohol
As this is fantasy, some of these mild warnings are metaphorical rather than literal. For example, I included "racism" in the mild section because the different races of Middle Earth, particularly elves and dwarves, have preconceived biases toward one another that lead to animosity and contention.aceofsphades_reads's review against another edition

Here’s the three main trigger warnings in my opinion, I’ll be explaining a bit of how they appear in the book without much spoiler.
- Violence: They have to fight to escape other creatures.
- Grief / Death: One of the members of the Fellowship dies in the 3/4 of the book and in the rest of the book we see how the others are grieving.

Appreciated how some characters like Gimli got more development, vs just being a comedic relief character
I will never get over Tolkien’s location descriptions, I wanna emulate them in my own writing
