So he would keep Ethan as safe as he could while he did it. He would do it to make him happy. He would follow him anywhere, just to be with him.
Awww I'm going to miss these two. It's been a wild ride but I loved this series.

I enjoyed the "Death and the Devil" series very much. Lots of actions, a dash of romance & a sprinkle of spice. A good balance.

The best is the final, predictable but adorable.
The rhythm is irregular; at times, I had the urge to skim, although I managed to contain it. A more frugal prose would have helped.
The handler and his change of heart constitute a weak point in the plot. Either the choice of such a person as a handler is a structural error, or his change of heart is implausible.
