I didn't think anything could top Tip Tip Dig Dig, but I think Chugga Chugga Choo Choo is my favorite now. Lots of fun at storytime if you do all the sounds.

A great book for preschoolers who love trains. The collage illustrations are reminiscent of Eric Carle.

A fairly predictable train book, but one that toddlers will still enjoy. This would be a fun, interactive storytime book as children can repeat the train sounds throughout. Colorful illustrations and a variety of settings appeal to the eye and imagination.

A train goes on an adventure. This book provides lots of opportunities to count up to the number four.

For: train fans; readers looking for a book involving counting and senses.

Possible red flags: some readers may not appreciate the destinations.
