Meh. So far An Unwanted Guest is the only Shari Lapena book that I have enjoyed.

The characters in this book are so unlikeable that I just didn't care what happened to any of them.

This book was okay, and has two kind of weird twists at the end that I didn’t care for.

I couldn’t put this book down. I read it in one sitting. I didn’t even get up to pee. The plot twists just kept coming. The book was on 100 the whole time! So good

3.5 stars. i’m not the biggest fan of the amnesia trope in thrillers, but this was well written and compelling, like all of shari lapena’s books. and i didn’t see the last big twists at the very end coming. not my favorite shari lapena, but definitely not the worst and i’d still recommend.

The book was fine. Entertaining and a quick read but predictable with no likable characters.

UGH- I actually really enjoyed this book the whole way through, but when I got to the ending, my first thought was "That's it?" Also not as many twists as I would have hoped. Overall, too predictable.
