This is a tale of two distinct yet exciting parts. The first of the Mule and his search, a battle of minds far beyond our capacity and ultimately the defeat of one thought undefeatable. The second the Foundation and it's search and the conspiracies, conclusions, assumptions and pettiness of men all missing a few important indicators and steps away from the truth. God this was intense and a complete bounce back from the continuation in Foundation and Empire. This installment truly forges itself forward in a gripping way.

One of the best trilogies I've ever read. The big reveal was so hyped up, and I actually figured it out in the middle which is so rare for me, and yet he still kept me second guessing myself until like the last three pages. Expertly written.
