it was slow and not that interesting to me. something bad always kept happening. the romance was a slow burn.

sometimes ailsa was too stubborn and uncooperative.

“Can I borrow your ring?” he asked.
Ailsa’s hand covered it from my sight. “You asked for it once, and the answer is still no. Why should I help you anymore than I already am?”

i liked sorrin.

“Why did you trade your life for mine?”
“Because if you were my daughter,” he corrected her thoughts. “I’d hope someone would do the same.”

what’s up with vali dying in every second chapter?

there was a one bed trope but nothing really happened. 🙄🙄

Norse history is good. Going through the realms is also good with different environments.

Characters were never really "enemies". They came from I hate to, to I love you on a few pages.

I could not get behind how quick these characters started to go from enemies to lovers

what an adventure

I wasn’t expecting to be left on a cliffhanger! This was. Good book and I am impressed with this author! I love the research she went into to keep things as accurate to Norse mythology as possible!
