I loved the anecdotes in this book, as a teacher it makes it easier for me to think about putting the theory into practice. I also appreciate the problem solving approach, I hate when a book laments about problems rather then discussing realistic changes that can be done at multiple levels (admin, school, classroom etc) to make improvements. This book gave me both those immediate changes and long term changes to consider.

Was looking more for classroom practices, and a few examples were offered, but most were focused on whole school policies and practices. Still, some of what they say I am already doing...but offered a few additional ideas I could adopt within my own classroom.

Definitely some interesting ideas to take into consideration with future classrooms. I liked the examples and an exploration of the various statements from the study. A good read for folks looking to examine their equity practices within their classroom and school.

I'm going to write a full review eventually. Short version: I loved this book. Every chapter left me inspired and full of ideas. That said, it was an inspiring read, but not a quick read. As is evident from my reading dates, it took quite a bit of time. Mostly because it took so long to digest everything after each chapter.
