I know there are some important bits setting up what's to come, but the big bad of the volume the Devil Dogs reallllllly turned me off to the volume as a whole.

So many good art here. Mangaka threw in God, angel, demon, behelit, monster, sacrifice, eclipse and other such terms in this volume that I'm not sure aymore what kind of entities 'they' truly are?
