I'm glad Meredith shared her story: a contemplation on what it means to be an outlier in many ways and a journey to acceptance of the self. I just really cannot do books with graphic sexual content, but I see how it was integral to the author's processing of her feelings and identity.

A beautiful book about Meredith discovering herself. It tackles colorism, racism, gender, and sexuality. Not to mention tense relationships with family. A very good memoir.
