A ton of plot and moving the story forward in this book (more so than the others in the series so far). Lots of twists I didn’t expect. Excited to see what happens in the next book

I was a little thrown by the first half of the book, had so much filler thrown in I was getting bored, then All of a sudden stuff started escalating all over the place and that ending, my goodness, let’s just say I’m back on board and I need more Reaver, and I’m hoping this new series in Pct is going to center around the draken!!

Holy cow, what a story! Strength, courage, determination, power, love. Poppy is finding out who she really is, Cas is by her side the whole time encouraging her.
There is a lot of history is this story which helps everything fit together. Some questions are answered, some big surprises, and a lot of edge of the seat moments.

Disappointing middle third that could have been significantly reduced. Ended leaving me wanting more though so on to the next one!

Pacing was still insane and a lot of the writing was cringy and the last hundred pages were too rushed but I was entertained the whole time and I support all of Poppy’s rights and wrongs so let’s keep the good vibes going
