Another knock out of the park. Absolutely fell in love with this book, and with Han and his role. Truly I loved it.

Solid book, though I couldn't help but feeling like there was something missing. I never really felt like our heroes were seriously challenged in their plans. Challenges happen, sure, but they resolve quickly and I never really expected them to fail. Still, the writing, plotting, and character work more than make up for it.

Another excellent addition to the Seven Realms series. I love this series! This book was especially good with Raisa and all her friends and family at a turning point.

A highly entertaining series; complex and entertaining, and I really enjoy the magic system's traditional roots paired with the fresh new ideas Chima brings to her world. Han and Raisa are both interesting characters, although their connections add flair to the story, their infatuation always felt a little... uninspired to me. They spend so much time away from each other and have such solid separate stories that it's hard to see how their romance really... built, other than through Raisa's tutoring of Han in the previous book. Anyway, this installment was a little politics-heavy and I missed more of the adventure from the two previous books, but still masterfully told.
