Great books to begin discussion on importance of oceans. I thought it was great for young readers. My four-year-old thought it was really interesting. Some suggestions on what we can do to help would have been a nice touch.

Greenberg's art charms in this picture book for elementary school kids about oceans and the water cycle. The book itself is fairly broad, but the science gets more specific than other books aimed at younger readers.

Nice reminder of how the ocean comes to us regardless of where we are. Has a strong voice in recycling and being cognizant of what we do on the land.
