A great end to a brilliant series of books (I know there are a few more but I’m not counting them).
This was a satisfying read, and I’m grateful for the end two chapters as a closing on Torak’s world. They slowed the ending down and tied it all together like a big bow. The plot itself was well-planned and well-written, as always.
The only reason this lost a star was because there were one or few times I was confused, one of these times being the final fight scene. I felt that with a bit more explanation and better pacing, I would have enjoyed it more instead of having to read it three times to understand what happened.
Other than that, this was a brilliant book with beautiful imagery used throughout. I have really enjoyed Torak’s story and I’m honestly sad to let it go.

I loved this book! I just don't want the series to end here! Please Michelle Paver! I'm begging you to write some more! It was so full of suspense, I almost cried near to the end! Loved it to the last page!Awesome AWESOME AWESOME!!!!
