Damien fucking Martinez!!!!!! He is my new ultimate book boyfriend! Holy crap he was perfection! I loved this book so much! And honestly I don’t feel like it has to be read around Christmas time. The timeline is centered from Halloween to New years so you can really read this anytime of the year but besides that this book we just great! The legally blonde vibes are accurate but I liked this more! Abbie was such a fun sunshine character and I LOVED LOVED watching her grow BACK into her self and find her worth! I was constantly rooting for it! And Damien Damien Damien! What a man! Seeing him realize he wanted more and seeing him being Abbie back to herself without him even knowing he was doing it I think was my favorite part! They are amazing together!

It’s always the cartoon covers that have the dirtiest smut i swear. I freaking love revenge tropes and this one just does it for me. It’s so funny and i didn’t expect to cry with Abbie.
Abuse can come in different forms and what my girl went through was rough. She deserved so much better after that stupid ex and i am so happy Damien came into her life. I just wanna say that Damien is the standard. He made abbie felt more herself and helped her build the confidence her ex destroyed.
