A thoughtful and practical resource that I will be coming back to for inspiration, stories, and suggestions. This is an easy to access book that invites readers to practice exploring belief structures. Gray defines liminal thinking as "the art of creating change by understanding, shaping, and reframing beliefs." He offers 6 principles that define how we systematically build and relate to our beliefs and follows with 9 ways to practice liminal thinking. The book reminds me of "The Art of Possibility" by Benjamin Zander. Liminal thinking as a concept also complements the facilitators go-to resource "Liberating Structures" by Keith McCandless and Henri Lipmanowicz.

Good Concepts

Liminal Thinking has some great concepts in it. It is written very simplistically - and that is okay, it makes for a quick read. You have probably heard the sentiment in this book, but the author does a nice job of explaining the reasoning behind your thinking, the benefits of changing it, and provides some strategies to do so.

Concise and direct, but definitely not easy. These are great models for your life, if you can make the space to look.
