Wildly different from the first in the series, but still super enjoyable in a world rich with lore and intrigue. Pace takes some getting used to, especially straight after reading Mordew, but it comes together fantastically towards the last third of the book. Looking forward to the final instalment in the series, and really hope it can combine the best of its predecessors.
