It's like Batman but with cheesy, knock-off villains. I guess they couldn't afford licensing for the iconic bad guys!

Something really fun about this. Very reminiscent of the original TV show but a different twist to it. Batman thinks more.

It’s definitely not something that takes a lot of focus. You just fly through it because the stories are so simple and you’ll get a good laugh every 20 pages or so. Nice to see a different perspective on the character that coexisted with all the other versions in the 60s.

Also some really beautiful panels with heavy contrast.

Influenced by the 60s Batman show, this is silly enough but I have to say that manga aesthetics fit perfectly and it beats American superhero comics of the time easily.

This book is fully what it sounds like. Entertaining and easy to read, but I wouldn’t call it a good book. But it was fun to read it and laugh at the old and/or translated sayings.

I want to give it a 3.5, but I can't. It's all very old school and cliche, but that's what I signed up for. Some of the stories dragged. I'm having a fun time though, and plan on reading the next volume.

An interesting take on Batman, but very Japanese in its presentation as you would expect from a manga series created in Japan. I suppose after becoming used to a darker style for Batman the villains in these stories were too benign for me. However, these villains were similar in nature to those portrayed in the Batman TV series that was on around the same time (1960s).
