Three essays on the theme of 'nationalism', or a better terms, a devotion towards or against a certain ideology. This devotion is irrational, easily transferable, and indifference to facts of reality that halter their nationalism.

The second essay focuses on a particular form of 'nationalism' - antisemitism. Many of Orwell's observation remain relevant today especially on the inherit 'urk' factor gentiles have, the back-handed antisemitism which comes out of the ordinary man, and how media accidentally makes more back down more on their bigotries even if the opposite effect is intended.

And the third essay is about nationalism and sports, pretty self explanatory if you have a brain.

I'd never read an essay collection before but Orwell's are surely not to disappoint unless you're a devout tankie.
