Between the Walls’ parents from Glass Castle, THESE people, and my husband’s family … it should be mandatory for every person wanting to have kids take an in-depth psychological evaluate. Sheesh.

This memoir is beautifully written and equally well performed. Tara Westover shares her upbringing in a way that allows you to form your own opinion, much in the way that she did herself as she grew older. Her story is one that everyone should read. Her writing is both easy to understand and exceptionally, well, educated. Take time to immerse yourself in this book and in her story. You will not be disappointed. You may even come out of it inspired and grateful.

It was really good. its interesting what religion will make people do and believe and how strong the ties to family are.

It was hard to believe this was a memoir and not far fetched fiction. What a testament to her resilience.

It was incredible to see the transformation Tara takes as the spell she was under for so long fracture little by little. Thank goodness.
