What in the wattpad was this

I got a little over halfway and then DNFed. Way too repetitive and the enemies part was forced. Then all of a sudden they were all in love with her?

This book had been sitting on my shelf for over a year. Joining a group read convinced me to finally read it (I listened to the audio tho)… we were supposed to read 1/4 of the book each week (to discuss)..

Well I freaking read the entire book in 24 hours time.
I’m personally offended by any other rating besides 5 stars.
That was a beautiful story. It was lengthy as hell but so good. I can’t even express what was so good about it without giving away the story. The reasoning for the name of the book was perfect.

The spicy scenes were amazing & hot as hell.

Terrible story and the writing style confused the shit out of me most of the time. I also wished there was some more MMF.

"This world is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and the people in it would rather you be miserable as long as they’re comfortable. Why not carve out our own piece and be free to love how we choose?”

Definitely glad I read this book!

After seeing it mentioned on #booktok multiple times, I bought it but then it just sat and I almost forgot about it.

Braxton Fawn is handed her dream on a silver platter or so she thinks. What she encounters is anything but a dream but a nightmare as she realizes the extent of the situation that she is placed in, not being wanted isn't a new feeling for Braxton. Being able to have an ability that makes her unique only adds to her being who she is.

Bound is down a member, their lead guitarist at that. Best friends who have been torn apart by secrets and betrayals, it doesn't seem nothing can help these three to get back to who they truly are to one another. Until her..

“Perfection isn’t real. There’s only us. We’ll make each other laugh, and we’ll make each other scream. Bad days will find us again. We will be tested, and sometimes we’ll falter. We’ll wonder if this time we make it through.”

Oh this story..
These characters..
The spicy scenes..
Braxton is a unique character that I have only come across once before in a book and even then he was a treasure. The dynamic between her and the guys is definitely different with each one and it fits altogether like a nicely cut puzzle.
It's always nice to have variety, Houston who is the asshole, Loren who is the spoiled loud one, and last you have Jericho who is the quiet emo of the group. It all works and makes for one hell of a story.
Definitely more to this than I thought but when you read it in one sitting you get the full effect, I have zero regrets about it too!

“Love isn’t an illusion that requires silence to maintain. It only needs our memory of what it was like without each other.”

That one specific chapter had my heart in my throat and tears in my eyes and all I could think is oh please no!
I despise her mother and father, for good reason!
This chapter and the rest of the book just topped this off for me, I loved every bit of it even if I was pissed in some parts or about to cry in others.

In the end you realize exactly why this book is named what it is and why it fits so damn good. You will feel all the emotions after reading it and a full understanding will come to you and you realize the parts throughout the book make perfect sense.

I didn't finish the book. Read up to 67% and have up.

The red flags waving at the beginning of the book were such a turn off that I just wasn't as invested in the plot. They initiated intimacy in very emotionally inappropriate times, there is two scenes where it's blatant sexual harassment and threats of murder in a way that's not "cute" or jokey. The spicy scenes were good but I never felt any liking to any of the characters.

TL;DR: Red flags are not cute or sexy.
