Known in the UK as Much Obliged, Jeeves, this is the penultimate of PG Wodehouse's Jeeves books (the last being Aunt's aren't Gentlemen). This one features his
'deserving Aunt Dahlia' as opposed to his Aunt Agatha, and also features a previously-unknown-to-the-reader old school friend of Bertie Wooster in Ginger Winship.
Cue the usual romantic entanglements and sheenanigans!
(oh, and we also find out Jeeves first name (it's Reginald))

For a plot driven mostly by Florence, we don't actually see too much of Florence in this book, which is fine. :) The usual laughs abound, and the ending is surprisingly sweet!

When one writes over ninety books, about forty are bound to be less great than the other forty. That said, I had a great time.

Not one of the best Wodehouse novels. The story is rife with reused plot points and hackaneyed incidents

Bertie visits his "aged relative" (Aunt Dahlia) in order to canvas for his old friend Ginger Winship. The repartee between Bertie and Jeeves never gets old.
