This was a great quick read and got right into the meat of the story. I liked the HFN ending, wishing there was more, I know there is more to the series. Loved the lack of communication between the characters at first glad it was resolved. Looking forward to the rest of series.

Quite good. Taylor and Will had great chemistry and were surprisingly well developed for such a short read. There was a good blend of action and emotion.

Nice story with a good pace, interesting plot and good characters. Relatively short but follow up books in the series continue the story of Taylor and Will. This book (number 1) focuses on the start of their relationship and Will's reluctance to move beyond work partners.

Josh Lanyon writes really likable characters. I loved Will and Taylor. I could tell they really cared about each other right from the beginning. They had a solid partnership before they got physical. I just really liked the whole story. I just wish it had been longer. But there are two more to read so I do have that;)

Two agents working for the Department of Diplomatic Security are trying to work their way through the problems with their partnership. They are both gay and the sexual tension between them has started causing problems, especially after one of them is recovering from being shot. So they go on a camping trip to work out their troubles. But they only land in more trouble when they find a missing plane involved in casino robber.

This could have been better as it got a bit side tracked. There is a lot of character development and you get a sense of who they are. But there are still lots of mystery to them. An interesting reading distraction.

(Audiobook review, narrator Adrian Bisson) I think the narrator did a good job of capturing the character voices. I've listened to 4 of the books in the series so far. This first book introduces us to the main characters, gives us some of their history and the circumstances which have led to their current situation. The author did a good job of portraying Will's ambivalence over beginning a romantic relationship with his work partner, Taylor. Complications during their disastrous camping trip bring home to Will how much Taylor really means. There's just enough sex to be hot yet does not overwhelm the plot.
