Ok, so I'm married to the author, just to get that out of the way. This was exactly the book I needed to read right now. I love the voice and attitude of Sarah, our main character, and everyone around her is fleshed out enough (pun somewhat intended) that things feel real even when they are decidedly unreal. I found myself engrossed in both the plot and the character arcs which always makes for a good read. LAW AND MURDER is a fun and rewarding read.

First of all, I was given this ARC of "Law and Murder" in exchange for an unbiased review. I've never read anything by Mindy Klasky before, so it felt odd to be jumping into Book Two of a series because that's normally not my style! But I was very impressed with Ms. Klasky's writing style. The characters are great, and Sarah's night life sounds much more exciting than mine! I also love the mentions of Athena and Hera as Greek and Roman mythology has been a long-time interest of mine.
All in all, I was very pleased with the book. I think I may go find Book One just to see how it all began!!
