A bit of fun. The quotes funnier than the text. Was aware of it without ever bothering to follow it.

I read this during free reading time in my classroom. My students kept looking at me like I was crazy every time I laughed out loud. I could barely control myself; it was that funny. Super quick, super fun read. I even bought a copy for my father for Christmas.

This book is slightly different from those I usually read/listen too but there was something that drew me to it. The gist of it is that this guy, who has a foul mouth, mostly bad attitude, and is really rough around the edges really, really loves his family. Sean Schemmel was the narrator and he did a great job with all the different voices. Sam Halpern was very real to me through the reading of this book and, minus the copious amounts of foul language, was endearing. He reminded me a lot of my late grandfather.

Funniest book I've ever read, period.

It's pretty funny - good for an hour or so of amusement (it's a thin book with lots of white space!).

It had some funny parts and I LOLed more than once. Quick, enjoyable read, that helped boost my 2013 books read quota.

If I am saying this dad has a foul mouth, that's saying something. Hilarious and thoughtful.

There are some parts I definitely lol'd at. It was chaotic and the perfect distraction for me today.
