"Invisible child" by Andrea Elliott is an amazing piece of journalism and storytelling. Never dull despite its 600+ page length, obviously political but not too pedantic, devastating but not depressing.

Told in a Sympathetic, yet objective way, this book gets to the heart that f what being an unhoused child is like.   Frustrating and repetitive at times because it’s factual and people are people-  why can’t we do better?!
