Thought this book would be weird since Lou was so much younger than Zeus. It wasn’t. I adore Daddy Z and his interactions with not only Lou but The Fallen. Z is this big bag MC biker president and yet he is one of the best men with a strong moral compass compared to corrupt cops. His might point a little off center however it’s only in the best ways. I can’t wait for Zeus and Loulou to make more cameos in future books.

If you had asked me earlier this year if I was a fan of MC club romance books, I would have answered no. However, I've dipped my toes into those worlds this year, and I have to say: my mind is changed! I read this series out of order and started with this book based on a recommendation from a friend. Welcome to the Dark Side is an age-gap romance (19 years), and is a forbidden romance between LouLou and Zeus. LouLou is quite young, however, I love the way that Zeus treats her. He does not come off as a predator, even though LouLou is quite young. Also, LouLou has an old soul for someone her age. Age gaps can go really, really badly, but this book just worked for me. I rated this 4.5 stars, and rounded up for Goodreads.

After re reading this book i’ve once again fallen for a man twice my age…*sigh*

I finally am reading this series in the proper order and oh my word I was so excited to re read this. LouLou my girl you are literally so strong like ya kinda had me tearing up cause of your strength no cap.
Zeus, I mean I don’t even know what to say about him except for the fact I have read my fair share of romance books with alpha males but zeus is by far the most loyal and fiercely protective male character i’ve come across. And I frickin loved it.

Re read- love and missed them so much omg!!!

okay this was my first fully age gap (19 years) and I loveeddd it so much. Lulu is amazing she deserves the whole entire world. Zeus being there for her throughout her life when she had no one was just perfect. They love each other with their whole entire beings and no one else could be more perfect for each other. Zeus is so sexy, masculine, how can you not love him. He would and has killed anyone that stood in the way of his brothers, kids, and of course Lulu.

No words.

I have no words to explain how much this book will make you feel. Zeus and LouLou. Absolutely no words.

"She ran at me.
Hair flying, arms pumping, smile spread clean across her prettier-than-all-else face, Loulou ran at me like she’d done when she was seven and she would, I knew, until she could run no more.
And, like I’d done when she was seven and like I would, I knew, until I could stand straight no more, I caught her in my arms and hefted her tight against me."

"“This is it,” I warned her. “I’m it for you after this.”
“You’ve always been it for me,” she gutted me by saying."
