Absolutely the best Agatha Christie mystery short story collection I've come across. It's not just a random assortment of tales but a seamlessly interconnected book where each successive short story serves as a chapter in a captivating novel.

The storyline revolves around a group of people gathering every Tuesday night to share past mysterious, often murderous, happenings. Each storyteller holds the key to the solution, leaving the others to analyze and make their best guess. To everyone's surprise, it's the unassuming elderly village lady, Miss Jane Marple, who unfailingly unveils the truth every time!

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection, especially because each mystery had its own self-contained chapter, making it easy to dip in and out. A definite recommendation from me. My personal favorite has to be The Blue Geranium.

A collection of thirteen mysteries told in the evening by the same cast of characters, with Miss Marple swooping in at the end to solve the puzzle with some little, at first seemingly out of place, insight into human psychology. I remember enjoying it as I read, though Marple stories tire a little, especially when they are so short, since they all follow the same exact format. That said, I do not remember a single detail of any other stories now, a year later, which I suppose means I can reread it peacefully, but really shows that they're not all that memorable.

I enjoyed the short stories because they had just enough 'clues' that I managed to work some of the crimes out, and find myself quite clever for it, but they were still clever. They were snappy and well concluded every time.

This book consists of thirteen short stories, each a complete mystery in itself. The first six are told by members of a gathering in Miss Marple's house, who have set up an impromptu Tiesday Night Club and challenge each other with unsolved mysteries. Miss Marple solves all of them, gaining the admiration of the others, who initially thought of her as an ignorant country old maid. The next six are told by members of a party in the Bantrys' house. Again, Miss Marple solves all of them. Finally, in the last story, Miss Marple solves a mystery happening in her own village.

Each of these stories was quick and fun to read. Some were absolute gems with endings that caught me off guard. However there were a few that disappointed me with how obvious their solutions were.

Character wise, I liked Sir Henry Clithering, the quiet, intelligent, charming ex-head of Scotland Yard. Miss Marple was her ever slightly eccentric and quaint self. I wish the characters had a little more personality with different narrative voices though. Their voices pretty much blended together, so that any of the stories could have been feasibly told by any of the characters.

Overall it was not one of Christie's best books, but it was still a quick and enjoyable read.

13 relatos cortos que cuentan los miembros del club de los martes con sus respectivas resoluciones que permiten conocer más a Miss Marple. Son relatos cortos, lo que hace que la lectura sea rápida y dada la pluma de la autora muy entretenida.
