A booktok recommended this book so I decided to read it. Another sad book to add to my shelves. I wanted more justice for Tuesday. Her family and school failed her.

This book completely engrossed me. What a sad story of survival for a young girl. Her strength and resilience makes for a great read. Listened to it on audiobook and the narrator made this book incredible. Such a relate-able voice and a different one for each character! So excited to start her next book Call me Cockroach!!

This was a very difficult book for me to read, because it resonated so much with what I went through as a child. I take my hat off to the author, because it is never something we want to talk about. She tells the story in detail, and it is, at times, very hard to read.

I was appalled by the abuse the main character, Tuesday experienced. I understand why she didn't tell and that is the scary thing. Adults failed this young girl repeatedly, especially the person she loved dearly.
The writing style was good. The story was told very well. I found myself more about at the end but it was not a cliff hanger. Just wanted to know how Tuesday turned boy in life years after.
