It's been almost 20 years since I read the Deptford Mice and Deptford Histories books and yet as soon as I started reading this, all the wonderful memories I had of those books came flooding back. This is a beautifully presented almanack highlighting the key dates in the rat, squirrel and mouse year. It includes 'recorded' writings from characters in the books and a few diary entries from the creator of the almanack are dispersed throughout. It is illustrated on every page and each month has a full colour illustration of a character from the books.
