I feel this book is about how one moment can change your entire life. One moment can change your entire behavior. One moment can define you as a person. Repenting an entire life about one moment can seem a sad life to lead. For me, it seemed beautiful. The idea of atonement that transforms you in a better person than you’d had been had you not sinned, is beautiful. This is what makes a character grow.

There is not enough words in the English language for me to describe and explain how this book made me felt, you will just have to read it to understand and feel what the author is trying to convey. This book took me so long to read, as I loved the friendship between Amir and Hassan, although I didn't  want to find out what happened to them in their futures. It was moving, gripping, compelling, extraordinary, insightful to the past of Afghanistan lifestyles, but this still makes me hurt just thinking about everything that happens. Definitely would check the trigger warnings before reading and to make sure that you may/may not need a therapist after finishing this. I wasn't even sad or really down before reading this but only after....
Otherwise, very diverse and life-changing book I read.....

Very informative but I couldn't be immersed to the plot, though I'm satisfied with the twist and turns at the last quarter of the book. The beginning was packed with burdensomeness I even had to stop after only few chapters but after that it became distant to where we should be focusing: The Kite Runner.

There are a lot of parts that seemed unnecessary to me. I wanted Hassan but I'm reading about Amir's wife that he met in America like what. why.
And I hated the main character till the end, it's disappointing.
