I watched the adaptation on Netflix and thoroughly enjoyed it, and I have had this on my shelf for YEARS and just never had a chance to pick it up. The Netflix show is a faithful adaptation and this is such a sweet, heartfelt graphic novel of a blossoming relationship between two teenage boys. I feel like the show captured the angst a bit more and Nick's internal conflict much better, but it's also a different medium so that's to be expected. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'll be sure to pick up the next one!

Oh crap. I love this story. 😭
I loved how real this story felt. Charlie and Nick are sweet baby angels and I want to give them both the biggest hugs. Being a teenager is really the worst, but at least your friends make it bearable. 💕 I really hope these two guys can make it through all the messiness that exists in their world. And yay for more queer stories! I love the representation the queer youth are getting these days. 🌈
I’m so ready to tear through all available volumes and then binge the show. 🥹
