I actually did not finish this but that was because the library book was due and I couldn't renew it anymore. I will come back to it again to read the rest of the books. I found it enlightening and helpful, and even though the book was written quite some time ago, the psychology of how people work (whether they are molesters, stalkers or scammers in any form) is still the same. Definitely a worthwhile read.

A very interesting read about trusting your gut and listening to your instincts. Some parts are a bit outdated I would say, but overall I enjoyed it and feel reaffirmed.

A knowing feeling. Listen to your intuition, stop trying to fight it with logic and reason.

This is an important book and I believe everyone should read it. First, women should read this book because its main theme is about trusting intuition. Women have better intuition than men, but society (and men) insist on ignoring it and taking action based on logic and reason. GdB explains why this is a mistake that can be fatal. Second, men should read this book because it helps us to see how women can and do often interact with the world in a constant state of fear. We can understand how our actions are perceived, and how even when we think we are "helping" we are not. Finally, GdB makes an important point about distinguishing true fear from anxiety and worry. We all have people in our lives who are constantly anxious or worrying--often to the point of paralysis. GdB explains how to distinguish between worry and fear, and how successfully doing so can improve life dramatically. This book really could save your life.

This book should be required reading for all humans, but particularly women. The main takeaway being, trust your intuition ladies. Your gut knows more than you give it credit for. Don't invalidate it.

The facts are a little dated, but the message is good.
