I laughed more than I’ve ever laughed for any WoT book - so that says something. Power dynamics were better here with people starting to grow up and the slow shift of the mind of an Aes Sedai.

The queen escaping was anti-climactic. But the Whitecloak guy getting assassinated was intense

Didn’t see as much of the rebel tower as I had hoped, but I liked the big picture here.

Also just remembering about Perrin and wondering what’s going to happen there. Also when will Thom get his letter from Moiraine (or did I miss something here? Too afraid of spoilers to look most stuff up)

I think it was pretty decent until the ending which just seemed really rushed and like not conclusive?? idk.. also this series is still suffering from having too many characters, it felt like egwene got no screen time here
